Its time for The Sports Den to predict or guess which 5 NFL head coaches are on the hot seat going into the 2011 season. This is just the order in which they came to mind and not the ordwer in which they get fired if that should happen.

1. Hue Jackson, Oakland Raiders – This is Jackson’s first year as Raiders head coach, but when your boss is Al Davis you are always on the hot seat.              

2.Marvin Lewis, Cincinnati Bengals –  Yes Marvin Lewis did recently sign an extension, but the Bengals reverted to their old ways this off season, players being arrested. The Bengals finished 4-12 in 2010, they might not do any better in 2011 with Carson Palmer retired?,Ocho cinco gone and T.O. gone

3. Norv Turner, San Diego Chargers – It seems every year we put his name on this list. They are the best team in a weak division and are consistantly picked to win it all, but somehow come playoff time they shoot themselves in the foot. Finished 9-7 in 2010 and missed the playoffs, could 2011 be Norv turners last in San Diego?

4.Jack Del Rio, Jacksonville Jaguars – Somehow Del Rio has avoided the firing squad the last couple of seasons. The Jags finished 8-8 in 2010. If the jaguars don’t get off to a good start he could be gone by mid season. Most likely fired at the end of the season

5.Gary Kubiak, Houston Texans – Did lead the Texans to their first winning season in 2009 with a 9-7 record after a couple of 8-8 seasons. The Texans finished the 2010 season with a 6-10 record, and it doesn’t look good for Kubiak now that Wade Phillips is his defensive coordinator. Could be another coach that could be gone early depending on what kind of start they have.
