Now for the NFC West, the fact that the unthinkable happened last season with the Seattle Seahawks winning the division with a 7-9 record makes this the worse division in the NFL.
2011 NFC West Final Standings
1. St. Louis Rams – Finished tied with the Seahawks at 7-9 but lost the division due to tie breakers. This could be the team to beat in the NFC West. The Rams have improved under head coach Steve Spagnuolo the last couple so seasons, so it makes sense that this wil;l be the Rams best season yet under Spaqgnuolo. (9-7)
2. Arizona Cardinals – The Cardinals finished last in the division last season with a 5-11 record. The Cardinals traded CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie to the Eagles for QB Kevin Kolb. The Cardinals are hoping for big things from Kolb, in this division it shouldn’t be too hard. (8-8)
3. San Francisco 49ers – The 49ers finished the 2010 aseason with a 6-10 record, and really shouldn’t improve much. They still have issues at QB with Alex Smith. (7-9)
4. Seattle Seahawks – Somehow the Seahawks won this division last season with a 7-9 recoord. That will not happen this season since for starters Matt Hasselback isn’t there and Tavaris Jackson is. If things get bad enough will Pete Carroll go back to college? (5-11)
