Former NHL defenseman and enforcer Wade Belak 35, who played 14 seasons in the NHL with the Avalanche, Flames, Maple Leafs, Panthers and Predators was found dead in his Toronto condo from an apparent suicide. Belak becomes the third current or former NHL enforcer to die in the last four months. The other two players were former Ranger Derek Boogard who died in May from an accidental overdose of alcohol and oxycodone, and Ryan Rypien 27 of the Winnipeg Jets who died in early August agian from an apparent suicide.
