After a couple of unscheduled days off due to Hurricane Irene, the Phillies traveled to Cincinnati for a four game series with the Reds. They say sweeping a four game series is difficult, but the Phillies are making it look easy by sweeping the Reds and completeing their third four game sweep of the season, their first four game sweep in Cincinnati since 1916, and their eighth series sweep overall. The sweep included back to back shutouts and a foruth member of the Phillies starting rotation to have at least ten wins, the surprise is it isnt Roy Oswalt yet, but Vance Worely who picked up his tenth win of the season. The Phillies picked up their 87th win of the season leaviung them just 13 wins shy of 100.
