Their eight previous series’ sweeps were good, but the nineth one is the best yet. The Phillies picked up their 91st win of the season, and now nine away from 100,  increased their lead in the NL East to 10.5 games, the Braves are now twelve games back in the loss column. Any slim idea the Braves had at trying to catch the Phillies to win the division have been put to rest so to speak. As you can see in the upper right hand corner, the magic number is now 12.
