The Flyers face off against the Canucks on Wednesday night in thier 2011/12 home opener, just in time to cheer up the Philly sports fans. The Flyers head home 2-0 after opening the season on the road against the Stanley Cup Champion Boston Bruins, and the hated division rival N.J. Devils. This is another early season test for the Flyers, a team who most fans are not familiar with yet since all of the off season moves. the Canucks come in as defending Western Conference Champs Vancouver Canucks (1-0-1). So far afteer two games the new guys, have to get used to their names, look pretty good, but its still early yet, hopefully they play well enough so Phillt sports fans can forget about the Phillies and Eagles.
