MLS’ L.A. Galaxy paid a lot of money five years ago to Mr. Posh Spice (a.k.a. David Beckham) to do two things. One to win a MLS Championship and two to make soccer a little more popular here in the States. The Sports  Den really can’t say wether soccer is more poopular now than it wan five years ago, but we can say that the L.A. Galaxy did win a MLS Championship Sunday night against the Houston Dynamo 1-0. No Mr. Spice didn’t score the winning goal, that was done by another popular soccer player, can’t think of his name. Now that his contract is up The Sports Den would like to wish Mr. & Mrs. Posh Spice a safe trip back to merry old England.
