The New Orleans Saints got spanked by the NFL on Tuesday afternoon resulting from “Bountygate”. Saints head coach Sean Payton was suspended for the 2012 season without pay for his role, former defensive coordinator Greg Williams, now with the Rams, who actully ran the bounty program  was suspended indefinitely, you would have to figure it would be at least a year, maybe more. Roger Goodell also suspended Saints G.M. Mickey Loomis the first eight games next season, and assistan coach Joe Vitt for the first six games. The Saints were also fined $500,000.00 and stripped of their second round draft picks in 2012, and 2013. Punishment for the players involved was being discussed between the NFL and the NFLPA.
