The Phillies won their fourth game in a row on Wednesday night, and temporarily climbed back to .500 at 19-19 with a 9-2 win over the Chicago Cubs. Kyle Kendrick mad the start in place of Vance Worely who was put on the 15 day DL with an inflamed elbow. Kendrick did a good job even the he picked up a no decision. It looked like Jonathan Papelbon was going to pick up another save but the Phillies exploded for six runs in the top of the ninth to give Papelbon the night off. The Phillies will be looking to make it 5 in a row, and climb above .500 behind Roy Halladay, and sweep the two game series against the Cubs on Thursday night. Categories: Uncategorized
