The Phillies droppped the first game of the four game series to the Los Angeles Dodgers by the score of 4-3, and now have dropped back to .500 losing their third in a row. The Dodgers jumped out early to a 3-0 lead, but the Phillies tied it up at 3-3. It stayed that way until the ninth when a questionable call of a pitch which would have been the first out of the inning turned into a leadoff triple and eventual game winning run. The Phillies drop back to 28-28, while the Dodgers improve to 31-24.
