The Los Angeles Kings became Stanley Cup Champs on Monday night for the first time in team history by beating the New Jersey Devils 6-1. It’s a little bitter sweet for Flyers fans, watching players that were originally drafted by the Flyers to bring the team another Cup, Justn Williams, Simone Gagne, Mike Richards, and Jeff Carter, winning it with another team. That seems to be the trend with the Flyers.
