After watching the Blue Jays starter Drew Hutchison leave the game in the top of first with an elbow problem, you would think it was going to be the Phillies night. Unfortunately the Phillies couldn’t score agains the Blue Jays bullpen, should have saved some of those runs from the Twins series, and lost the game 3-0. A bit of bad news, good news. Carlos Ruiz left the game with an injury, but it is being reported that it’s only a cramp, and Ruiz may only miss one game. The Phillies could have picked up a game since the rest of the NL East lost. The Phillies drop to 31-35, while the Blue Jays get back to .500 at 32-32.
