Phillies – Blue Jays Game 2 Recap Quickie

Cliff Lee took the mound on Saturday against the Blue Jays looking for his first win, and he is still looking, after the Phillies 6-5 loss in 10 innings. Lee and the Phillies had a 5-2 lead heading into the bottom of the eighth when a walk, a couple of hits, and a throwing error allowed the Blue Jays to tie the game, and forced Lee to take another no-decision. A balk by RP Joe Savery (not going to try and explain it) in the 10th led to the winning run. The Phillies drop to 31-36, and are 2-8 in extra inning games, while the Blue Jays improve to 33-32. Kyle Kendrick takes the mound on Sunday looking to avoid the sweep by the Blue Jays.

Star of the Game:

Rajai Davis, Blue Jays – 2/5, 1 RBI (GW)
