Unfortunately the Phillies couldn’t avoid being swept by the Blue Jays on Sunday losing 6-2. The only bright spot for the Phillies was Jim Thome hitting his 100th home run as a Phillie, only the fourth player to hit 100 homers with three teams joining Alex Rodriguez, Reggie Jackson, and Darrell Evans. The Phillies finished their nine game road trip 3-6, drop to 31-37, and are now 4-12 on the month of June. Kyle Kendrick gave up first inning runs for the eighth time in ten starts, and is now 2-7, with a 5.29 ERA. Is it football season yet?
