It was game two of a four game series between the Pirates and Phillies, with the Phillies coming out on top again by the score of 5-4. Carlos Ruiz hit his career high 10th home run, Vance Worely picked up his first win since coming off the disabled list, and is now 4-4, Michael Schwimer, and Antonio Bastardo both pitched out of trouble so Jonathan Papelbon could pick up his 18th save of the season. The Phillies improve to 36-40, and the Pirates drop to 38-35.
