The Phillies have a two game winning streak after beating the Colorado Rockies behind Cole Hamels 5-1, and take two out of three top win the series. It took a while but Hamels picked up his 11th win going 8 innings and giving up 1 run on 6 hits, 1 BB, and 7 K’s. Carlos Ruiz, Placido Palanco, and Hunter Pence drove in the Phillies runs. The Phillies improve to 39-51, while the Rockies drop to 34-54.
