The Phillies ran their winning streak to three games with a 3-2 win over the L.A. Dodgers on Monday night. Joe Blanton went 8 innings giving up 2 on runs on 6 hits to pick up the win and even his record at 8-8. Jonathan Papelbon picked up his 29th save of the season, and Ryan Howard homered for the first time since returning to the lineup. Jimmy Rollins homered and Juan Pierre added an RBI single. The Phillies improve to 40-51 while the Dodgers drop to 48-43. The Phillies will try to run their win streak to four games on Tuesday night when Roy Halladay makes his return.
