The Phillies went down to Washington to take on the Nationals after trading Sahne Victorino and Hunter Pence. If for no other reason to watch the game the pitching match up looked like a good one, Cliff Lee against Steven Strasburg. It didn’t turn out that way, the Phillies roughed up Strasburg, score six runs off him in just four innings on their way to a 8-0 win. Cliff Lee finally picks up his second win of the season. Jimmy Rollins hit a 2 run inside the park home run, and Kevin Frandsen started the scoring with a two run homer, his first since 2007. The Phillies improve to 46-57, and the Nationals drop to 61-41.
