The Phillies couldn’t pull off the sweep of the Nationals on Thursday night by the score of 3-0. Cole Hamels deserved a better fate considering two of the three runs were due to misplays by Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley that should have been unearned runs, oh well. Cole Hamels drops to 11-6 after an 8-1 start, and the Phillies drop to 47-58, while the Nationals improve to 62-42.
