The Sixers were a part of a blockbuster 4 team trade that saw Dwight Howard go to the Los Angeles Lakers, along with Chris Duhon, and Earl Clark. The Sixers part of the trade sent 2012 first round pick Mo Harkless, Nicola Vucevic, and a protected draft pick to the Magic, who also received in the trade Arron Afflalo, Josh McRoberts, Al Harrington, Chritian Eyenga, a conditional first round, and a conditional second round pick from the Lakers, the lower of two Nugget 2014 draft picks. The Sixers sent Andre Iguodala to the Denver Nuggets, and the Sixers get Andrew Bynum from the Lakers, and Jason Richardson from the Magic. That’s a complicated blockbuster.
The Sixers finally have a true center, but for how long. If they can’t sign Bynum to a new contract then this deal becomes a total waste considering what they gave up for a one year rental. Andrew Bynum does have some issues that go along with him
