It’s that time of year again, about 10 days away from the start of another NFL season. With that in mind it’s time for The Sports Den to make it’s predictions, or guesses on how each division will end up. We are going to start off as usual with the NFC East.
NFC East Final Standings 2012
1. Philadelphia Eagles – Coming off an 8-8 season. Defensive Coordinator Juan Castillo had a training camp to work with the defensive, it should be better than last season. The Eagles have the same weapons on offense and if Michael Vick can stay healthy and cut down on turnovers than this is the Eagles division.
Prediction: 11-5
2. N.Y Giants – The Giants are coming off a 9-7 season that saw them win the Super Bowl. That won’t happen this season, the Giants have a brutal schedule, especially the second half. There also is the hangover effect.
Prediction: 9-7
3. Dallas Cowboys – On paper the Cowboys are a very good team, but they don’t play games on paper. The Cowboys have some issues, offensive line, Dez Bryant etc. Jerry Jones won’t be happy when they miss the playoffs again.
Prediction: 9-7
4. Washington Redskins – The Redskins improved at QB when they drafted RGIII with the second pick in the draft. The only problem there will be the usual growing pains that the Redskins will have to endure. Should be competitive in another year or two.
Prediction: 8-8
Next: NFC North
