Roy Halladay wasn’t himself and it showed leaving the game after 4.2 innings after giving up 4 runs on 7 hits, and 4 walks to the Braves. the Phillies offense on the other hand looked like their old selves coming back from a 4-1 deficit to tie it at 4-4 in the top of the sixth. Dan Uggla untied it in the bottom of the inning with a solo homer, and the Braves were up 5-4. In the top of the ninth Erik (Krash) Kratz tied it up at 5-5 with his 8th homer of the season, with that and his collision with Chipper Jones should make him the Phillies backup catcher next season. John Maybery Jr. put the Phillies ahead for good with a three run homer in the 10th to put the Phillies up 8-5, and Jonathan Papaelbon picked up his 31st save in the bottom of the inning. The Braves drop to 74-58 while the Phillies improve to 63-69, ensuring that they can’t lose 100 games, and are within eight games of a Wild Card spot with 30 games left Hmm!
