The NFC is complete, now its time for The Sports Den to make it’s predictions, or guesses on how the divisions in the AFC will finish at the end of the season, starting off with the AFC East.
AFC East Final Standings – 2012
1. New England Patriots – The Patriots proved they are still the best team in the AFC East by winning the division by five games over the Jets, and seven games over the Bills and Dolphins. Should not have a problem winning it again in 2012.
Prediction: 11-5
2. New York Jets – The Jets finished up the 2011 season in second with a disappointing 8-8 record. Can’t wait to see what happens when Mark Sanchez has a bad game. Another 8-8 season? The Sports Den thinks so.
Prediction: 8-8
3. Buffalo Bills – The Bills started off the season well but stumbled and finished up with a 6-10 record. Having Fred Jackson back might help a little, but not enough. Should end up in third.
Prediction: 7-9
4. Miami Dolphins – The Dolphins finished up with a 6-10 record, the same as the Bills. Tony Sporano is gone and Joe Philbin is in. The Dolphins also will have a new QB in Ryan Tannehill. Not good.
Prediction: 4-11
Next: AFC North
