The Phillies winning streak is at five games after a 3-1 win over the Miami Marlins. The win puts the Phillies at 70-71, one game below .500, and suddenly are now just 5.5 games out of a wild card spot, before the Cardinals and Padres play on Monday night, lets go Padres. Kyle Kendrick picked up his ninth win, and is making a strong case to be in the starting rotation next season. Antonio Bastardo even picked up his first save.
