The Phillies beat the Marlins 9-7 on Tuesday night for their sixth straight win. With the win the Phillies climbed back to .500 at 71-71, and now find themselves just four games back in the Wild Card race. The Philllies making the playoffs doesn’t sound a nutty now as it did about two weeks age, they still need some help which make its still a long shot. Roy Halladay picked up his 10th win of the season, and Jonathan Papelbon picked up his 33rd save.
Star of the Game:
Jimmy Rollins, Phillies – 2/3, HR, 3 R, 3 RBI, SB
