Phillies Top Mets 3-2

Thanks to a two run homer by Ryan Howard in the top of the ninth the Phillies managed to keep their slim wild card hopes alive for at least one more day. Cole Hamels pitched well enough to win but instead picked up his fourth no decision in his last five starts. Jonathan Papelbon picked up his 36th save. The win puts the Phillies above the .500 mark again at 75-74.
The  Phillies look to complete the sweep behind Tyler Cloyd on Thursday night.

Star of the Game:

Ryan Howard, Phillies – 1/4, HR, 2 RBI
