Phillies Lose Home Finale 7-3

A 7-3 loss to the Washington Nationals was not the ending Phillies fans wanted for their last home game, and fan appreciation night. It looked good after Darin Ruf gave the Phillies a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the first, but that was all the Phillies would score, while the Nationals would score the next 6 runs. The Phillies end up with a 40-41 record at home, and are sitting at 78-78. The Phillies will now hit the road to finish up the season, and maybe finish above .500.

Star of the Game:

Michael Morse, Nationals – 2/4, 2 HR’s, 4 RBI’s

Next Series:

@ Miami Marlins – Sept. 28-30
