The 76ers started the new year off right by beating the Lakers in L.A. 103-99. The win snapped a two game losing streak for the 76ers and gave them a little bit of revenge after losing to the Lakers in Philly in early December. Jru Holiday making just first appearence in his hometown in two year led the way with 26 points and 10 assists. Evan Turner chipped in with 22 points and 13 rebounds. The Sixers improve to 14-0 when leading heading into the fourth quarter, are now 2-3 on their road trip, and improve to 15-17 on the season. The Lakers drop below .500 at 15-16 for the season.
