Less than a week away from the start of the lockout shortened season the Philadelphia Flyers made a trade, and sign a free agent. The Flyers sent minor league forward Luke Pither to the Carolina Hurricanes for G Brian Boucher. This will be Boucher’s third go around with the Flyers. The 36 year old Boucher playe din just 10 games last season, with a 3.41 GAA, and an .881 save percentage. The Flyers signed free agent defenseman Kurtis Foster. Foster 31, is 6’5″, and 226 lbs, and is a righthanded shot. He played for the Wild, Ducks, and Devils last season.
