Both the Sixers and Knicks came into this game riding four game losing streaks. The return of Thadeus Young couldn’t prevent the Sixers from losing their fifth straight losing to the Knicks 99-93. The Knicks used a 17-2 run at the start of the second quarter to take a 52-40 lead at halftime. The Sixers tried to make a comeback after falling behind by as many as twenty in the second half but it was a case of too little too late. The Sixers drop to ten games below .500 at 22-32, and the Knicks improve to 33-20.
