The Sports Den read an an article on NHL.com that compares the 1979/80 Flyers 35 game unbeaten streak to whatever it is the Blackhawks are doing now. The question we have is how you can compare a team that didn’t lose in 35 games to a team that has lost six times in the last 30? Yes no matter how you look at it the Blackhawks have lost six times, even if it wasn’t in regulation it’s still a loss, and thats why the Flyers streak will always be better. Well here’s hoping that the Blackhawks lose in the next five games, so the comparison can end, but if not it would be a good move to put an asterisk next to the Blackhawks.
