Things were looking good for the 76ers in the third quarter holding a 14 point lead on the Blazers. Then the Blazers made a run. Then LeMarcus Aldridge’s hail mary three pointer, only his second three of the season, cut it to a 101-100 with 7 seconds left. The 76ers turned the ball over on the inbound, and just like that the Blazers had a shot to win it. LeMarcus Aldridge missed his shot, and Spencer Hawes swatted away any chance of a Blazers’ rebound, and the 76ers hang on to win their second in a row 101-100, and snap a three game losing streak to the Blazers. The 76ers improve to 26-40, and the Blazers drop to 31-35.
