The Phillies started off the game by jumping out to a 4-0 lead only to see the Royals score the next 9 runs thanks to Bill Butler’s 7 RBI’s. The Phillies rally in the bottom of the ninth came up a run short and the Royals escaped with a 9-8 win. Cole Hamels was knocked around agian in his second start going just 5 2/3 innings giving up nine hits, a career high eight earned runs, one home run, four walks, and two strike outs. The Phillies are 2-4 after the first six games, the record could be better, and it could be worse, and yea it is early, so Phillies fans shouldn’t panic yet.Player of the Game:
