Not much here to recap. The Flyers lost to the Devils 3-0 which puts an end of any chance the Flyers had to make the playoffs. You had to figure this was going to happen since the Devils came ionto this game riding a 10 game winless streak.

The Phillies dropped their fourth in a row losing to the St. Louis Cardinals 4-3 on Thursday night in game 1 of a four game series. The Phillies had a chance to win it in the bottom of the ninth with two on and nobody out but couldn’t score. It was Cole Hamels fourth start of the season, and the Phillies forth loss not good.Player of the Game:
