The story of this game was Jonathan Pettibone who was making his first major league start for the Phillies in place on John Lannan. Evan though he came away with a no decision in the Phillies 3-2 win over the Pirates he did pitch well enough to possibly get another start. The Phillies picked up their second straight win and pulled to within two games of .500 at 9-11. congrats to jimmy Rollins for picking up his 800th career RBI.
