This series against the Giants sounds like a tennis match with the Phillies winning the first two sets, 6-2, 6-2. Kyle Kendrick picked up his fourth win of the season going seven innings, giving up just two runs on six hits, and struck out six. Chase Utley, and Ryan Howard homered, the fiftieth time they have homered in the same game. Tim Lincecum didn’t look like the old Lincecum we’re used to seeing pitch against the Phillies especially with his hair cut. Jonathan Pettibone will take the mound on Wednesday afternoon looking to complete the sweep by taking the third set.
