It was another one of those game where the Phillies’ starter, Kyle Kendrick, pitched well enough to win but didn’t get the run support. Fortunately instead of picking up the loss he walked away with a no decision after the Phillies come from behind 4-2 win over the Diamondbacks to earn a split in their four game series. The Phillies trailed 2-0 going into the top of the ninth, then scored two to send it to extra innings. Ryan Howard broke a 0-17 in the series with a two run single in the top of the tenth to put the Phillies in top 4-2. Jonathan Papelbon shut the door in the bottom of the tenth to pick up his 7th save of the season.The Phillies end their seven game road trip at 4-3, and find themselves four game back in the NL East at 18-21.
