it started out as a pitching duel between rookie pitchers, Tyler Cloyd for the Phillies, and Jose Fernandez for the Marlins. Tied at 1-1 after five, and with Jose Fernandez out of the game, the Phillies lit up the Marlins’ bullpen for six runs in three innings to pull away to a 7-3 win. Delmon Young homered, and had 2 RBI’s, Michael Young doubled and had 2 RBI’s, and Ryan Howard went 3/5 with 3 RBI’s for the Phillies. Tyler Cloyd picked up his first win of the season. The Phillies are within two games of .500 again at 22-24, while the Marlins drop to a whopping 13-33. Cliff Lee will be trying to make it to in a row on Wednesday night.
