After playing the first two game in Boston the Phillies returned home to host the Red Sox for two to finish up the four game series, not a bad idea by MLB. Anyway, the Phillies took their second straight from the Red Sox by the score of 4-3. Reigning NL Player of the Week Domonic Brown is making a strong case to make it two weeks in a row. Brown has hit four homers off Red Sox pitching in three games, two coming in Wednesday night’s 4-3 win, Erik Kratz, and Ryan Howard also homered. Kyle Kendrick picked up his fifth win of the season, and Jonathan Papelbon picked up his eleventh save, second against the Red Sox. The win give the Phillies yet another shot to get to .500, (26-27) if the can make it three in a row on Thursday night.
