First the bad news. Cole Hamels went 8 innings giving up 2 runs on 8 hits with 7 strikeouts, and had should have had his third straight win with a 3-2 lead heading into the ninth. Unfortunately Jonathan Papelbon blew the save and Hamels took a no decision, and the Phillies and White Sox went to extra innings for the third straight game. The good news, the Phillies came away with a 4-3 win in 10 innings. The Phillies finish their 10 game home stand 7-3, and head into the All Star break at 48-48, 6.5 games behind the division leading Braves, and just one half game behind the Nationals for second in the NL East, and 5.5 games back in the Wild Card chase.
