Here is how The Sports Den sees the AFC North ending up at the end of the 2013 season. These predictions, or guesses depend a lot on how healthy each team stays, and some finger crossing.
AFC North 2013 Final Standings
1. Pittsburgh Steelers – The Steelers finished third in the division in 2012 with an 8-8 record, and missed the playoffs, don’t see that happening again this season. Should beat out the Bengals for the division. 11-5.
2. Cincinnati Bengals – The Bengals ended the 2012 season with the same record as the Ravens, 10-6 but finished in second, and made the playoffs. Should give the Steelers a run for the division, but come up short. 10-6
3. Baltimore Ravens – Everybody knows what the Ravens did last season. Still have the talent on offense, but the defense won’t be the same without Ray Lewis. They’ll suffer from Super Bowl hangover this season. 9-7.
4. Cleveland Browns – Finished last in the division in 2012 with a 5-11 record. Pat Shurmer is out and Rob Chudzinski is in. The Browns do have some young talent but with a new coach probably won’t finish any better than they did last season . 6-10
