Here is how The Sports Den sees the AFC West ending up at the end of the 2013 season. Again these predictions, or guesses, depend on how healthy each teams stays, and a bit of finger crossing.
AFC West Final Standings 2013
1. Denver Broncos – Won the division in 2012 and finished with the best record in the NFL at 13-3, and an 11 game winning streak. Not sure if they will finish with the best record in the NFL again, but will win the division just easily again. 12-4
2. Kansas City Chiefs – Finished dead last in the division in 2012 and tied with the Jaguars for the worse record in the NFL at 2-14. Andy Reid is the new coach and Alex Smith is the QB. The Chiefs will show some improvement, and could surprise a few teams. They won’t make the playoff, but they won’t finish last either. 6-10
3. San Diego Chargers – The Chargers finished second in the division with a 7-9 record. They signed former Broncos OC Mike McCoy as head coach, and cleaned house to try and turn things around after a three year decline. Sometimes it takes some time to turn things around. 6-10
4. Oakland Raiders – Finished third last season with a 4-12 record. This team hasn’t been good for awhile, and won’t be good this year either. 5-11
Final 2013 Standings

2. K.C. Chiefs: 11-5
3. San Diego Chargers:9-7
4. Oakland Raiders: 4-12
