The Eagles had their chances but came up short losing to the Chargers 33-30 spoiling Chip Kelly’s home debut. This turned out to be an air war between Phillip Rivers, and Michael Vick . Both QB’s threw for over 400 yards, and both teams combined for over 1,000 yards. The amazing stat of the game, the Chargers had the ball for 40:17, and scored 33 points. the Eagles had the ball for 19:43 and scored 30 points. The bright side they are still tied for first in the NFC East.
