Here is how The Sports Den sees the AFC North ending up at the end of the season. At least the Sports Den will get the team that comes in last right.
AFC North
1. Cincinnati Bengals* – Won the division last season with an 11-5 record. No major off season incidents, or injuries. If they stay healthy they should be able to at least duplicate last season.
Prediction: 12-4
2. Baltimore Ravens* – Finished last season in third place with an 8-8 record after winning the Superbowl the previous season. Ray Rice is suspended the first two games, but should still be able to rebound from last season to be the second best team in the division. Prediction: 10-6
3. Pittsburgh Steelers – Finished in second place in the division with an 8-8- record. The Steelers have been in a decline fort he last couple of seasons, and it looks like it’s going to continue this season. The Steelers have issues on both sides of the ball which is going to make for a long season.
Prediction: 7-9
4. Cleveland Browns – Finished last in the division last season with a 4-12 record. Josh Gordon is suspended for the season. Mike Pettine is in his first year as head coach. How long will it take until Browns fans to want Johnny Manziel as the starter? This team has a long way to go before it is a contender. Prediction: 4-12
