The Phillies opened up inter league play on Monday night in the first of a four game home and home series with the Orioles with the first two game in Baltimore where the Phillies will be finishing up their eight game road trip. Unfortunately the Phillies fell to 0-7 on this trip with a 4-0 loss to the Orioles. The orioles took a 1-0 lead in the fifth on a RBI single by J.J. hardy the scored Travis Snider. Matt Wieters put the orioles up 4-0 with a three run homer off Aaron Harang in the sixth, and that was all she wrote for this one. The Phillies have now lost 11 straight on the road, and are now on a 21 inning scoreless streak, and have been shut out in three of the last four games, and are now 7-27 on the road. Phillies starter Aaron Harang has lost five straight,and has gone from 4-3 to 4-8. The Orioles improve to 32-31 while the Phillies drop to 22-43.
