It’s over! The Phillies ended their losing streak at nine games with a 2-l Thursday matinee win over the Orioles. When Manny Machado led off the game with a home run it was here we go again, but that would be the only run the Orioles would get off Sean O’Sullivan, and the Phillies bullpen. Fast foward to the bottom of the sixth. With two out and Ben Revere at third Ryan Howard launched one and just like that the Phillies were up 2-1.  Jonathan Papelbon came in to pitch a scoreless ninth to pick up his 13th save of the season. The Orioles drop to 34-32, and the Phillies are now 23-45.
