The Phillies are wrapping up their season with a three game series against the Marlins. After game 1 was rained out on Friday night the Phillies and Marlins were scheduled to play two on Saturday. Game one saw the Marlins jump out to a 4-0 lead only to see the Phillies fight back and take a 5-4 lead after five innings. The Marlins tied it 5-5 in the top of the sixth, and the Phillies responded with a run in the bottom half to take 6-5 lead. Ken Giles came in to pitch the ninth with the Phillies up 6-5, unfortunately Giles picked up the blown save and loss after surrendering two runs in the top of the ninth that gave the Marlins a 7-6 lead, and A.J. Ramos pitched a scoreless bottom of the ninth to pick up his 31st save. The Phillies drop to 62-98 with the loss, and the Marlins are now 70-90.
