The Marlins completed the sweep of Saturday’s double header against the Phillies with a 5-2 win in the nightcap. The Marlins jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. Maikel Franco returned to the Phillies line up and cut the Marlins lead to 3-1 with a solo home run in the fourth. The Marlins added insurance runs in the fifth, and eighth innings. Franco added his second RBI of the game in the sixth on a RBI single that scored Andres Blanco. The Phillies drop to 62-99, and officially lock up the first pick in next June’s draft. The Marlins are now 71-90.
