Thanks to Freddy Galvis’ 5 RBI day the Phillies ended their 9 game losing streak with a 7-3 win over the Twins. After Ryan Howard tied the game 1-1 with solo home run Freddy Galvis put the Phillies up 2-1 with a squeeze bunt. Odubel Herrera made it 3-1 Phillies with a RBI single. the after the twins cut it to 3-2 Galvis put the Phillies up 4-2 with a RBI triple. Galvis then capped his day off with a 3 run homer to put the Phillies up 7-2. The Twins picked up a meaningless run in the ninth to make it 7-3. The Phillies improve to 31-42, and the twins drop to 23-49.
