Any thoughts of the Eagles going undefeated came to an end on Sunday afternoon with a 27-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Two plays turned out to be the downfall for the Eagles. The first play was Carson Wentz’s interception with the game tied at 13 that allowed the Chiefs to take a 20-13 lead. the second was Kareem Hunt’s 53 yard TD run that put the Chiefs up 27-13. The Eagles didn’t exactly roll over and play dead.  Carson Wentz managed to hit Nelson Agholor for a TD with :08 left to make it 27-20. The Eagles did manage to recover the onside kick for one last shot at an insane comeback to tie the game. Unfortunately Carson Wentz’s Hail Mary wasn’t answered and the Eagles drop to 1-1 and the Chiefs improve to 2-0.
